Designs are based on Leo Vinces experience with top teams from MotoGP
GP-style mufflers feature a silencer and connectors that are TIG-welded AISI 304 stainless steel, then sandblasted with stainless steel particles for a factory finish
Removable quiet core in muffler outlet keeps sound down without restricting performance
Secure to the frame with carbon fiber brackets
Optional stainless steel cat eliminator pipe eliminates the OEM catalytic converter for track days or racing (link pipe may only be used with Leo Vince mufflers, not for use with stock mufflers); not intended for street use
Cat eliminator pipe includes hardware to remove stock exhaust valve and to override OEM fuel injection sensor (when required)
EVO II mufflers have a noise-reducing insert to reduce sound output; insert can be removed for unrestricted exhaust flow
GP Pro mufflers have an old-school look with section-welded, upswept styling
Full stainless steel construction
Quiet core insert is repackable
Both styles offer an increase in power and torque
NOTE: It is recommended that new exhaust gaskets and a proper jet kit be installed when changing an exhaust system on a carbureted motorcycle. It is recommended that new exhaust gaskets and a Power Commander be installed when changing an exhaust system on a fuel-injected motorcycle. See the Engine section for exhaust gaskets and the Fuel Systems section for jet kits and Power Commanders.
NOTE: There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Discoloration (blueing) is caused by tuning characteristics, i.e. cam timing, carburetor jetting, etc., and is not caused by defective manufacturing. See the Lubes section for products that will help prevent or remove blueing.
NOTE: Some products may not be legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles, check your local laws and the manufacturers information.
