Aluminum is a very lightweight and strong material used extensively in the aerospace, automotive, and of course, motorcycle industries. Aluminum is a wise choice due to its excellent strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and clean look. We use lightweight thin-wall .060” extruded 6061 aluminum alloy that is heat treated to a T-6 condition for increased strength, durability, hardness, and finish hold. After the aluminum has been heat treated, it is cut to length and given a brushed satin finish. Ounce for ounce aluminum is the best value of all our M & C Series mufflers. As a rule our aluminum mufflers weigh about 8.3oz. more than Titanium or Carbon Fiber mufflers.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is an excellent header material, because of its corrosion resistance, durability, and high heat resistance. Stainless steel is used on all of our slip on systems, and stainless steel race systems. Our stainless steel race systems are made from the exact same tooling as our Titanium race systems, and produce equal performance. The only difference is titanium headers are about 45% lighter which translates into about 12.5oz. All stainless steel slip on and race systems have a brushed satin finish and are paired with our M-7 aluminum muffler. This combination is an excellent high performance value.
M-7
The Two Brothers Racing M-7 exhaust system is a true high end racing component. Designed with the performance, sound, and quality conscious customer in mind; The M-7 is an engineering masterpiece. Every M-7 exhaust system is Taylor made for each model, to add HP and Torque in the areas needed most. Thanks to countless hours of dyno and track testing the Two Brothers Racing M-7 exhaust system will bring you already hi-tech 4-stroke to a new level of performance.
Among the many features that make the M-7 so unique is our V.A.L.E. (pat pending) attachment system that allows a precise fit every time with no possibility of HP robbing exhaust leaks. Mandrel bent high quality stainless steel or titanium tubing is used exclusively on all M-7 systems. Each system is tig welded by hand, for superior strength, and weight considerations.
An in depth 2 year process was required to complete the design of the all new M-7 muffler that is loaded with exclusive features. The lightweight design is thanks to the cost is no object use of; Aluminum, Carbon Fiber, Titanium, and Magnesium. One of the M-7’s most impressive features is a removable die cast Magnesium end cap, designed to easily accept our P1 sound reducing power tip, or a USFS approved screen type spark arrestor.
All these features are the crucial elements that meld to form an award winning combination of performance, and technology that will be appreciated by top level pro’s and weekend warriors alike.
