Replaces centrifugal clutch system and boosts performance
Clutch is asymmetric-type torque converter system with asymmetric sheave faces; this makes it possible to force the belt to a diameter within the drive clutch (at high rpm) that exceeds the usual 1:1 drive ratio
TAV2 system can actually attain a .90:1 ratio (10% overdrive)
Movable sheave face is 18°, stationary sheave is 2 1/2°, for a collective angle of 20 1/2°
For use on 3/4” or 1” crankshaft diameter 2- and 4-cycle engines with a maximum of 8 hp
